Warwick Analytics is a growing tech company doing predictive analytics for customer services. A true market disruptor, our product is revolutionising the way people understand their customer needs and feedback. 

Our customer portfolio holds the biggest players in the market and goes across several industries including oil and gas, automotive, and e-commerce. 

Our vision is simple: Warwick Analytics wants to apply and simplify the predictive analytics technology in the market. 

The core of the business is developing and enhancing predictive analytical algorithms for processing potentially huge amounts of data. We are always researching and developing improvements and new algorithms that are then integrated into our core products. Most of this is back-end work, but we do have front end systems to allow access / monitoring of the analytics. 


The Role: 

We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be a proactive team player with strong initiative, autonomy and a technological and theoretical background. The candidate will be based in London and will work in with teams in other offices.


Main requirements:

=         PhD or Masters degree with 3+ years experience in maths, statistics, or a related field

=         Comfortable understanding of the theory behind machine learning algorithms

=         Strong analytical and statistical modeling skills, with experience with SVMs and Linear Models

=         Programming experience in Python (including pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, NLTK)

=         Experience with Natural Language Processing


Nice to have: 

       Familiarity using AWS

       Exposure to Active Learning techniques

       Experience training and deploying Neural Networks

       Spark, Java or Scala programming skills

       Previous experience as a developer

       Large-scale data analysis and data visualization ability
